Body and Soul (1925) 80 mins. directed by Oscar Micheaux and starring Paul Robeson. It tells the story of an escaped convict (Robeson) pretending to be a Pastor. He tries to take advantage of a mother and her daughter. This film was Micheaux criticism of blind faith in clergy.
